UX Designer. Anthropologist. Storyteller. Dreamer. Poet. Reluctant Adult.

I specialise in trauma-informed, culturally-responsive UX and conversational design.

I create experiences that meet people at their most human — through breakdowns, breakthroughs, and those days we’re just buffering through life.

My work sits at the intersection of anthropology, mental health, and technology.

  • As a researcher,  I uncover the quiet stories behind user behaviour through ethnographic methods, lived experience interviews, and participatory observation.

  • As a writer, I craft inclusive microcopy, conversational scripts, and content strategies that help people feel seen and respected.

I design for every brain—building accessible interfaces rooted in empathy, flexibility, and genuine inclusion.

Feminist design principles and cultural belonging are at the heart of my practice. I centre diverse voices, challenge default assumptions, and embed trauma-aware strategies in every project.

Recently, I designed Maryam, a mental health platform for Muslim women, blending mental well-being with faith-inspired support. I also developed Lazy Bites, an ADHD-friendly voice interface, and Feminist Haiku, a playful Alexa skill celebrating feminist poetry. These projects have reinforced my focus on researching underrepresented user needs, crafting accessible content, and designing conversational experiences that feel genuinely human.
